The ongoing inquiry into the disappearance of golfer, James Nutley, during a holiday to Tenby, is believed to have been the focus of a police search at a Pembrokeshire beauty spot at the weekend. However, nothing was found during Sunday's search in the Stack Rocks area of Castlemartin.
The search came following an incident on January 7, when a man in police custody made certain disclosures that he had disposed of the body of a male person in the Stack Rocks area.
"A full investigation was conducted into these disclosures, with one of the lines of inquiry being the searching of the Stack Rocks area," said a police spokesperson. "This has not been able to be carried out during the winter months due to the weather and tidal conditions.
"However, in consultation with the coastguard and MOD, a Dyfed Powys search team conducted a search of the Stack Rocks area on Sunday. Nothing was found."
The spokesperson added: "A man has been arrested in relation to the disclosures and he will be appearing in Swansea Crown Court shortly, charged with perverting the course of justice."
