Tenby coastguard and the RNLI inshore lifeboat were called to South Beach, Tenby, on Tuesday afternoon following a frantic call from a mother stating her son had been missing for approximately 20 minutes and was last seen at the water's edge. The coastguard commenced a search of the beach, while the lifeboat scanned the water's edge and surf. Some quarter-of-a-mile from where he was last seen, the boy was discovered by the lifeboat crew paddling happily. Mother and son were soon reunited.
