Congraulations to Miranda Davies, of Tenby, an athlete who runs and walks in events for Pembrokeshire Harriers and Greenhill School.
Fourteen-year-old Miranda recently created a Louise Arthur League and Welsh record whilst walking in an event at Swansea, winning the race in a time of five minutes and 13 seconds. The winning time means that Miranda has climbed into second place in the UK rankings of the 1,000 metre event. Her other success this year in the walk came in the Welsh Nationals where she won a silver medal and the Welsh Schools Nationals where she took bronze.
