Over the last year, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has raised an incredible £147,000 for the Fire Fighters Charity!

This impressive total was raised through the dedication of our operational and support staff, who took part in fundraising events, fire station car washes, Open Days and more.

Of course, Tenby’s popular Firefighter’s Carnival played another significant part in this, with the fundraising event once again drawing in crowds to the seaside resort back in August, during the peak of the summer holidays.

A spokesperson for the Fire Service said: “We extend our sincere thanks to everyone whose hard work and generosity contributed to this success.

“The Fire Fighters Charity offers lifelong support to the mental, physical and social well-being of serving and retired Firefighters, their families, and other Fire and Rescue Service personnel.
