Mia’s Summer 7 walk in aid of cystic fibrosis has taken place with an Army theme.

A fantastic group of camouflaged friends came together for the annual event which raises funds for teenager Mia Phillips’s cystic fibrosis appeal.

The group walked from Kilgetty Sports Club to Wiseman’s Bridge, where troops raced against each other to attend to their casualties, dress their wounds and return them safely to base.

Marching on to their own adapted version of Stripes Army training (thanks girls great adaptation!), they arrived at the Salvage Bar in Saundersfoot, before assuming their positions in Saundersfoot Sports Club to watch the Wales football match.

One more stop was made at the Cabin, before heading into Tenby to continue the evening.

The amount raised was £465, with an extra donation the following day taking it up to a fantastic £500.

“Huge thanks to all those who joined us on the walk, we really couldn’t do it without you, what an amazing lot you are and for those who donated we thank you for your generosity,” said Merrilee, Mia’s mum.
