The treasurer of the Pembrokeshire MG Car Club, Brian Morris, presents the second cheque of the year for £600 to the day unit at Ward 10 in Withybush Hospital, this raising the total to £1,000.

The fundraising effort has come as a result of Brian's recent experience as a patient in the unit. The MG enthusiasts support local charities at this time of year by using the profits generated from their annual Pendine Dash event.

The club puts on monthly meetings and road runs. The major event of the year is the Pendine Dash held in August which attracts entrants from all over the UK who will normally combine participation in the event with a holiday in the local area.
