Pembrokeshire MG Car Club has recently made two charity presentations. On August 13 last year, the club organised a national MG event that saw 74 MG's visit the county from all over the UK. As a result of this and other fund-raising throughout the year, a cheque for £250 was presented to Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital and a cheque for £250 to Wales Air Ambulance. The sole nominated charity by the club for 2006 will be the Wales Air Ambulance, as the invaluable service it provides not only to Pembrokeshire, but to Wales as a whole, is recognised by club members.

On Sunday, a total of 15 MG’s made the trip to Swansea Airport where the opportunity was taken to have a talk on the work of the air ambulance and to present a cheque for £250 to paramedic Phil Thomas. Club treasurer Jackie Ottaway is seen presenting the cheque, together with Neil Thomas, club secretary (kneeling), and watched by club members.
