Back in the summer, the Pembrokeshire MG Car Club held their fourth charity event known as the Pendine Dash.

This event, intended for MG cars of all ages, attracted 140 vehicles from all over the UK and Ireland.

Having assembled at the Forge Restaurant in St. Clears, the cars followed Tulip directions on a 70-mile route around north Pembrokeshire, before finishing at Scolton Manor.

This event is becoming ever more popular, with the number of participants rising each year.

Many taking part stay in the area for the weekend and return to take part in the run each year.

Thankfully, although August was very wet, the day of the run remained mainly dry and sunny, enabling visitors to make the best of the area.

This year's event was dedicated to raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and the outcome was the excellent sum of £3,200.

Massive thanks must go to the sponsors for their support, to the members of Pembrokeshire MG Car Club who made the day possible and, of course, the participants.
