THE Mezin String Quartet will be giving a concert at St. Johns Church, Tenby, next Thursday, March 8. It is their first concert since last summer as they have been busy rehearsing a new programme with a new cellist. Joining existing members Rebecca Whitehurst, Joanne Underwood and Jim Walker is cellist Katina Andreou, a graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, who now lives in Cilgerran and teaches cello for Carmarthenshire Music Service. They will be performing quartets by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. The concert starts at 7.30 and admission is £5 for adults, to include refreshments, and free for children. Proceeds go to St Johns Church and all are very welcome.
