A honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, followed the wedding at Penally Church of Mr. Stephen Michael Rue and Miss Anna Louise Joseph.
The groom, an engineer, is the son of Brian and Carol Rue, of Cimla, Neath, while the bride, a PE teacher, is the daughter of Robert and Wendy Joseph, of The Cottage, Giltar Grove Farm, Penally.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless duchess ivory satin gown with beaded lace appliqué and crystal detail. In her hair she wore a family diamond tiara.
Chief bridesmaid was Rachel Joseph (sister), while bridesmaids were Suzie Hughes (friend) and Catherine Daniel (sister-in-law). They wore full-length taupe satin dresses with diamante clips in their hair. Flower girls were Kaitlyn Rue (niece) and Shauna Daniel (niece), who wore ivory dresses with champagne ribbon trim and alice bows.
Best man was David Daniel (brother-in-law), while ushers were Andrew Joseph (brother), Christopher Rue (brother), Daniel Thomas (friend) and Ian Abraham (friend). Page boy was Master Kieran Daniel (nephew).
The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Marianne Osborne, while organist was Mrs. Diana Lunn.
The wedding reception was held in a marquee at the Castlemead Hotel, Manorbier, followed by an evening buffet. Entertainment was provided by the band 'Like a Lion' and an evening of music and dancing was enjoyed by everyone.
The couple are making their home in Cimla, Neath.
