Sir,

After reading Clr. C. Williams's letter in last week's edition, we would like to express our thoughts.

What a total and utter disgrace that a resident of Northfield Road ordered the removal of Shelley's memorial bench.

When Shelley passed away, the whole of Narberth and beyond felt deep sorrow for Paul and Bev at the loss of their daughter. We all felt so helpless for them in their grief.

We cannot believe that anyone could be so disrespectful to the memory of Shelley, a young girl who fought her illness so bravely.

The majority of people would knock a wall down to accommodate this memorial bench, not refuse to have it on the pavement outside their house.

Mr. and Mrs. N. Farmer,

Narberth.
