A nine-year-old girl from Pembroke is hoping to be named 'Miss Inspiration' at a competition next month.

Megan Wickland, a Year 5 pupil at Monkton CP School, is attending the final in the Miss Inspiration UK beauty pageant which will be held in Newport in March.

Megan won her place by coming second runner-up and winning all 'Miss Natural Beauty' and 'Miss Congeniality' in the Welsh heat.

Megan is sponsored by Claire Eaton, of Claire Eaton Photography, who supports Megan with her charity work.
