A meeting with the owners of the former Gatehouse Hotel site in Tenby and town councillors has been pencilled in to take place during the next discussions of the town council.

The town clerk, Mr. Andrew Davies, told members at their meeting on Tuesday night that Mr. Simon Fry had contacted the council with a view to meeting in a fortnight to update councillors on progress on the development.

Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown said that it was very disappointing that nothing had been progressed at the site ahead of this season, but she hoped that issues concerning the development would improve before next year.

"We've got to think forward and keep pushing for progress to be made so that we're not left in the same situation as we were this year with regard to the hoardings etc at least," she said.

"We don't know what we're going to be told by the owners regarding progress, but we've got to make sure that something is in place by next year," added Clr. Mrs. Brown.
