A very successful ‘Meet your local councillor’ event was held on Saturday at the Community Centre in Kilgetty.
Clr. Christopher Ebrey organised the event and all community councillors were in attendance, along with County Clr. David Pugh, who very kindly attended.
Members of the communities of Kilgetty and Begelly were given the chance to have their say on issues that mattered to them.
There were refreshments on the day and a member of Pembrokeshire County Council’s recycling team was there to answer any questions and give out advice.
Members of the Community Association very kindly gave up their free time to serve the refreshments and to let members of the community know about various activities locally, such as the gardening club, book club and bowls.
Amongst events discussed were setting up an IT club to learn the basics of using a computer. Clr. Peter Adams has a wealth of knowledge in teaching computing and felt it would be a very good activity to have available for all ages.
There will be another event in the near future and once again, all will be welcome.
