Chris Packham, well-known wildlife expert, photographer and author with a passionate concern for conservation and the environment, is coming to Cardigan on Monday, February 21.

As a firm supporter of the campaign against the proposed culling of badgers, Chris will be the guest of honour at a reception organised by Pembrokeshire Against the Cull (PAC) at Castell Malgwyn Hotel, Llechryd, 5 -6.30 pm. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet him and support local badgers.

Tickets for the reception are £12, to include buffet and non-alcoholic beverages. (A full bar will also be available). All funds raised will go towards the costs of opposing the badger cull.

PAC is also organising a related arts competition on 'The Magic of Badgers'. The lucky winners will receive free tickets for the reception where they will meet and talk with Chris individually at the start. They will also win two tickets for his show 'A Wildlife Exposed' at Theatr Mwldan later in the evening.

The competition is open to children and young people and adults, and entries across a broad range of arts and media.

To buy tickets for the reception, or find out how to enter the competition, contact PAC at [email protected]">[email protected], or telephone 01239 805020. Details will also be on the PAC website http://www.pembrokeshireagainstthecull.org.uk">www.pembrokeshireagainstthecull.org.uk
