As reported recently, this year's annual fun run/walk in aid of the RNLI will take place at Castlemartin this Sunday, September 13.

Why not go along and meet former 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' contestant and now local businesswoman, Anna Ryder-Richardson, who is starting the event, which is organised by Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild.

Also bring the children along to meet Radio Pembrokeshire's very own 'Pedr the Puffin', who is taking part in this year's walk.

The walk will take place at Newton Tower, St. Govans, Castlemartin, and will be supported by the RNLI Lifeguards and Pembrokeshire Vintage Tractor Society.

Keith Dickson, DJ, will once again set the mood for a happy day, while a barbecue will be available, as will a wide range of hot and cold refreshments and homemade cakes and ice-cream. RNLI souvenirs will also on sale

The event is organised in conjunction with the British Army at Castlemartin, where runners and walkers will have the chance to experience the wonderful coastline and views as they complete the course.

Walkers and runners will have the option to do either a four or eight-mile route, as will the family dog (on a lead please - why not have him/her sponsored as well!

Registration is at 10.30 am, with the fun run/walk starting at 12 noon.
