Twenty pupils from the Hynes School of Irish Dancing have qualified to compete in next year's CRN Irish Open Championships in Dublin. The continued success of the Saundersfoot-based school follows the recent CRN Overseas regional championships at the Dolphin Hotel, Swansea, where Caitlin Thompson, Siriol Jenkins, Alice Davies, Siobhan O'Sullivan and Jenny Hynes all won regional titles. Regional championship places were achieved by Hari Boswell, Leah Asparassa, Lizzie John, Shannon Robins, Milly Lewis and Katie Harries. The school's other qualifiers were Charlotte Rees, Molly Ashton, Georgia Mahr, Georgia Murphy, Daniel Rolls, Naiomi Hunt, Caitlin Cumberland, Jordan Southgate and Katy Izzard, while also taking part were Talfan Jenkins, Nieve Griffiths, Millie James, Rhian Moremon, Jodie Evans, Hannah Muskett, Megan Bridges and Shelby Parmanand. There were also wins for the school's freestyle team of Siobhan O'Sullivan, Katie Harries, Molly Lewis, Katy Izzard, Alice Davies, Naiomi Hunt, Shannon Robins and Lizzie John; the six-hand team of Shannon Robins, Alice Davies, Naioimi Hunt, Katy Izzard, Lizzie John and Molly Lewis; the four-hand team of Molly, Katie, Siobhan and Jenny; the three- hand of Molly, Katie and Siobhan and the two- hands of Molly and Katie and Siobhan and Jenny. The qualifiers are now looking forward to taking part in next May's prestigious Irish Open event, which will be held at the National Basketball Arena, Tallaght, Dublin.
