Sauterelle Trampoline Club were in the medals at the Welsh Trampoline Regional and NDP grades competition held at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

The event was open to clubs from all over Wales.

In the regional one event, Esme Jaros Reynolds was the champion and performed very well to achieve this in her first competition. Cody Davies won the boys event, with Dafi Williams in second - again promising youngsters relatively new to the sport.

Leon Davis won the regional three event. Menna Edwards won the girls regional three event. Youngest competitor, Isla-Mai Davies, finished in third place - again her first time. The team of Esme Jaros- Reynolds, Alex Anekore, Charlotte Gould and Amber Oakley won the gold team event. Leon and Menna won the synchronised trampolining with their highest score of 9.4.

In the national development competition, Ayisha Choudry qualified with a score of 46.5 - the highest club score of the day.

Senior club coach and judge Barbara Digby North was very pleased with the club’s results and said that all had put in extra practice in preparation for the event.

Sauterelle Trampoline Club trains locally at Tenby Leisure Centre and at Carmarthen. Children can bounce for fun and fitness or train for awards and compete. Beginners welcome. Limited space. Call 07952584240 for more details.
