Guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Tenby's January dinner meeting was Mrs. Pauline Allen MBE, who spoke with great interest, dignity and humour of the wonderful honour that had recently been awarded to her, when she was presented with the MBE by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, at Buckingham Palace.
The January dinner meeting is traditionally when Rotarians' wives are invited and all thoroughly enjoyed Mrs. Allen's recollections of her proud day. Club president, Rotarian Richard Caley, proposed a sincere vote of thanks to Mrs. Allen.
