The 2002 Whitland Mayor's Charity Masked Ball took place at Whitland Town Hall on Saturday, February 9, with all proceeds going towards Whitland Primary School.

MC for the evening was Mr. Peter Wills. Catering was supplied by Colin Harries Catering, of Whitland, with live entertainment being provided by 'Empty Pockets'.

Various games were played throughout the evening, including 'Spin the Wheel' and 'Lucky Dip.' There was a competition for the best mask, which the Mayoress of Whitland won (no it wasn't a fix!).

A raffle was drawn, the various prizes having been donated by businesses and individuals from Whitland.

Attendees included the Mayors of Neyland, Laugharne, St. Clears and Milford Haven, Deputy Mayor and Sheriff of Haverfordwest, along with their respective consorts.

Following a very enjoyable and successful evening, the proceeds amounted to £915.
