I should be grateful if I may, through your columns, publicly congratulate the two successful Tenby County Councillors.
Congratulations Clr. Michael Williams on regaining your seat and, in so doing, having your actions at County Hall confirmed. Tenby's North Ward electorate obviously appreciate the work you do on their behalf.
Congratulations Clr. Michael Evans for your huge majority. Tenby's South Ward electorate seem to expect much from you. I'm sure you will not disappoint them. Your contributions at Tenby Town Council meetings have shown you to be thoughtful, wise and diplomatic. I feel you will make many friends for us at County Hall.
To the unsuccessful contenders, I offer my admiration for having the bravery to stand for such a high profile election. When such quality candidates offer themselves for election, it proves that democracy is alive and well in Tenby.
