May I, through your paper, congratulate the Tenby Sea Swimming Association on another successful Boxing Day Swim.
Despite extremely cold conditions, with snow on the beach, the 40th Boxing Day Swim was very well supported.
The atmosphere was tremendous and for all of us who took part, it will be a day we will never forget!
As well as a number of local clubs who have benefited from the sponsorship money raised, the TSSA decided to support my chosen charity for the year, Ty Hafan, and I sincerely thank everybody who took part in the swim, sponsored somebody or collected from spectators on the day. This resulted in TSSA being able to donate £3,200 to this very worthy cause.
Thank you TSSA for continuing to organise what has become a great tradition in Tenby and for all the money you have raised over the past 40 years.
Long may the Boxing Day Swim continue.
