Tenby Dog Racers held their end of season presentation night at The Snooty Fox, Martletwy, last week. The trophies and rosettes were presented to the winners and runner-up in all classes by the club chairman, Richard Jones.

Top dog of the season without doubt was the Open and Over 23-inch Lurcher winner, Max, owned and trained by Kevin from Neyland, winning no fewer than 12 races over the summer. Most points were scored in the Novelty section by Pepper, who was trained in Pembroke by Holly.

Good racing dogs from all over West Wales were seen and everyone is now looking forward to next season, which should start with trials at the Snooty Fox Track in April next year.

The Tenby Dog Racers would like to thank all the land owners where they raced this year, with a special thank you to Kevin and Debbie at the Snooty Fox for allowing them to hold their Race Night and presentations there, at which they made over £400 for their funds.

Terriers, open: winner - Jess, owner Lorraine from Begelly; runner-up - Bailey, owner Wayne from Tenby.

Terriers, under 15 inches: winner - Rita, owner Kelly from Tenby; runner-up - Bubba, owner Jenny from Rose Market.

Terriers, under 12 inches: winner - Digger, owner Lauren from Pembroke; runner-up Milly, owners Tom/Haley from Templeton.

Terriers, under 10 inches: winner - Milly, owners Tom/Haley from Templeton; runner-up - Bane, owner Emma from Pembroke.

Lurchers, open: winner - Max, owner Kevin from Neyland; runner-up - Teazel, owner Nicky from Pembroke.

Lurchers, over 23 inches: winner - Max, owner Kevin from Neyland; runner-up - Flash, owner Lauren from Pembroke.

Lurchers, under 23 inches: winner - Mocha, owner Nicky from Pembroke; runner-up - Jake, owner Joey from Tenby.

Greyhounds: winner - Lenny, owner Tanya from Swansea; runner-up - Pepper, owner Tanya from Swansea.

Whippets: winner - Monty, owner Vicky from Pembroke; runner-up - Reubinm owner Vicky from Pembroke.

Novelty: winner - Pepper, owner Holly from Pembroke; runner-up - Daisy, owner Jasmin from Pembroke.
