Then come to the Martletwy and District YFC Show at Carew Airfield on Wednesday, August 26.

Over the years, this show has become one of the best local one day shows in West Wales.

Now well-established on a superb South Pembrokeshire site that is part of the former airfield at Carew, the facilities for parking are perfect and the enjoyment of the occasion is assured - come rain or shine.

The show offers a variety of attractions and entertainment throughout the day. In the livestock section you will have the opportunity to watch classes for cattle, sheep and horses, as well as classes for fur and feather. There are also classes for field crops and vintage.

In the horticultural section there are classes for vegetables, fruit, floral art, flowers, cookery, preserves and eggs and needlework and handicrafts. There are also classes specially for the children.

The vintage section classes boast a wide range of vehicles and machinery all lovingly restored by their owners.

In the attractions ring there will be displays from the vintage section, Quack Pack, falconry and the South Pembrokeshire Foxhounds.

For the dog lover, there is a dog show and terrier racing to finish off the evening.

There are numerous indoor and outdoor trade stands as well as food stalls and a licensed bar.

There is something for everyone, whether you are a spectator or exhibitor, so come and join us for a fun packed day with a great atmosphere!
