Pictured following their wedding at St. Mary's Church, Maenclochog, on March 1, St. David's Day, are Mr. Wayne Edwards and Miss Sasha Clancy. The groom, a butcher, is the son of John and Kim Edwards, of Rosebush, Clunderwen, while the bride, a teacher, is the daughter of James and Judith Clancy, of New Moat, Clarbeston Road. Given away by her father, the bride wore a long flowing red satin dress with thin straps and diamante details. Bridesmaid was Fallon Clancy, bride's sister, who wore a red strapless satin dress with diamante details. Best man was Evan Davies (bride and groom's friend), while ushers were Derek King, Michael Beynon, Peter Edwards and Matthew Evans. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Becky Davis and the organist was Sue Howley. The children of Gelli Aur School also took part. A wedding reception was held at Gellifawr Country Hotel. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Mexico and will be making their home in Kilgetty.
