The wedding took place on September 18 of Miss Amanda Pomfet, daughter of Barry and Thelma Pomfet, of Tenby, to Mr. Ryan Walters, son of the late Mr. Mark Walters and Mrs. Melissa Bowmer.
The setting was the pretty St. Michaels Church in Trebanos, Swansea.
Best men were Mr. Damien Walters, groom’s brother, and Mr. Rhys Davies, groom’s best friend. Ushers were Alex Bowmer, groom’s brother, and Danny, who is a friend and fellow Manchester United supporter to Ryan.
The couple’s daughter made a very pretty flower girl, while the bride’s nephew was a very cute page boy.
Family and friends enjoyed a buffet reception, where the centrepiece was a stunning tw-trier cake, made by the groom’s aunty, Miss Michelle Watkins. A five-foot ‘Love’ sign made by the groom’s step-dad Shaun, twinkled away all evening, filling the large hall with a wonderful glow.
All hand-ties and button-holes were made by the groom’s mum, Melissa, while the free bar was largely donated by the groom’s grandparents, Roger and Doreen Watkins.
The party was still in full swing when the couple left to spend their wedding night in the plush Grand Hotel in Swansea.
The groom, who works as an estate agent for Purple Bricks, and his new bride have made a lovely new home for themselves and Ariana in Clydcah, Swansea, and hope to honeymoon, somewhere hot, early next year!
