Married at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on October 15, were Mr. Ashley Owen Griffiths and Miss Denika Carys Powys.

The groom, a scaffolder, is the son of Elizabeth Ann Reakes and David Anthony Reakes, of the Hildebrand Hotel, Tenby, while the bride, a receptionist at the Clarence Hotel, Tenby, is the daughter of Beverley Janet Williams, of Breaside, Greenhill Road, Tenby.

Given away by her mother, the bride wore a full-length ivory gown, simple, but very pretty, which featured small detail on the front.

Bridesmaids were Heidi Watkins (maid-of-honour and best friend), Kirsty Stephens, Michelle Davies and Brooke Griffiths (daughter), who wore baby pink strapless full-length dresses with ivory kitten heel shoes.

Flower girls were Imogen Williams, Shikida Williams and Maddison Davies (nieces).

Best man was Stuart Whalley, while ushers were Jamie Silverster and John Fell. Page boy was Sam Reakes (groom's brother).

The ceremony was conducted by Canon Michael Butler.

A reception was held at the Snooty Fox, followed by a party.

The couple, who will be taking their honeymoon early next year, are making their home in Tenby.
