The wedding took place recently at Monkton Priory Church, of Mr. Michael Lewis and Miss Shelley Payne. The groom, a postman, is the son of Howard Lewis, of Pwll Trap, and Janice Morgan, of Tenby, while the bride, a personal banker, is the youngest daughter of Chris and Heather Payne, of St. Daniels Drive, Pembroke. Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory dress with diamante detail on the bodice and train. She carried a bouquet featuring a mixture of ivory and light pink roses and peonies. The bridesmaids were Kimberly Evans, Rachel Arthur, Zoe Bittle (bride's friends), Lisa Lewis and Beverley Morgan (groom's sisters). Flower girl was Evie Rothwell (niece). Best man was Phillip John, while ushers were Scott Payne (bride's brother), Christopher Thomas, Richard Crockford (groom's friends). Following the service, conducted by Rev. Martin Cox, an evening reception was held at Heywood Mount Hotel, Tenby.
