Liz Pullen Adam Sammons

Married recently at Manorbier Castle were Liz Pullen and Adam Sammons. The groom is the son of Caroline Martin, of Pembroke, and Andrew Sammons, of Llwyncelyn, while the bride is the daughter of Jo and Tony Pullen, of Stepaside. The bride, given away by her father, wore an Augusta Jones boat-neck lace gown with train and carried a beautiful bouquet of mixed flowers, including hydrangeas, avalanche roses and trailing amaranthus. The bridesmaids, Samantha Hughes (bride's sister), Charlie Sammons (groom's sister) and friends Jess Ormonde and Melissa Britts, all wore grey chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of blue and pink hydrangeas and gypsophila. Best man was Chris Monk and the ushers were Jim Pullen (bride's brother) and friends Chris Walters, Gareth Davies, Sean Callen, Dai Glass and Simon Blunsden. All the flowers were the stunning creation of Adam's sister, florist Marina Heath. The ceremony was accompanied with music by Chris John on guitar and the bride's sister, Sam, on the flute, along with presentation of the rings by Frodo the barn owl (from Pembrokeshire Falconry). Following canapés in the sunshine of the castle, the reception was held across the road in the Castlemead Hotel overlooking the beach. The couple have been spending their honeymoon touring from San Francisco to Los Angeles and finally Las Vegas, before returning to their home in Llanreath, and their business The Watermans Arms in Pembroke.
