Pictured following their wedding at Blaenconin Baptist Chapel, Llandissilio, on Saturday, are Mr. Nev Davies and Miss Sharon Harries. The groom, a plant contractor, is the son of Mrs. Jean Davies, of Lower North Hill, Treffgarne, while the bride, a branch manager of Clunderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers, Crymych, is the daughter of Spencer and Margaret Harries, of Wern Deg, Clunderwen. Given away by her father, the bride wore a hand- made bespoke designed gown in royal blue dupion silk with silver blue detail. She also wore a matching shrug. Bridesmaids were Miss Cerys Harries and Miss Enfys Harries (bride's cousins) and Miss Nia George (groom's niece), who wore hand-made dresses in silver blue dupion silk with royal blue trim. Best man was Mr. William Prichard (groom's friend), while ushers were Messrs. Ifan Davies, Sion Harries, Dean Mason and Daniel Mason. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Huw George, while the organist was Miss Heather Williams. A wedding reception was held at the Nantyffin Motel, Llandissilio. The couple will continue to live in Clunderwen.
