The wedding took place at Llanboidy Church on Saturday of Mr. Lee Crook and Miss Joanne Shewry.
The groom, a haulage contractor, is the son of Dave and Valerie Crook, of Ty Newydd, Cwm Ifan Bach, Pontrhydyfen, Port Talbot, while the bride, a supervisor for Morrisons, Carmarthen, is the daughter of Mrs. Jo Shewry and the late Mr. Arthur Shewry, of Pen-y-Graig Farm, Llanboidy.
Given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. Mike Carrington, the bride wore an ivory dress which featured a tulle overlay, a bodice embroidered with gold flowers and a long train. She also wore a princess tiara and veil with crystal droplets.
Bridesmaids were the bride's daughters, Amy Evans (aged six), Sarah Evans (aged four) and Jessica Jones (aged 15). Amy and Sarah wore ivory organza dresses adorned with ivory flowers and ribbon and matching headbands, while Jessica wore a long gold dress and gold and diamante tiara. Page boy was the groom's nephew, Marcus Smith (aged six).
Best man was Mr. Chris Grant (friend of the groom and work colleague), while ushers were Mr. Craig John (groom's nephew) and Steven Hughes (groom's friend).
The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Jeffrey Gainer and the organists were Mrs. Eluned Phillips and Mrs. Juliet Rossiter.
A reception was held at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth.
Following a week's safari in Africa, followed by a week's beach holiday off the African coast, the couple will be making their home in Port Talbot.
