The wedding took place at Lamphey Church, on Saturday, of Mr. Martin Finnerty and Miss Sian Parsons. The groom, who is in the RAF, is the son of Peadar Finnerty, of Galway, and Sheila Newman, of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, while the bride, a brand manager, is the daughter of John and Jane Parsons, of Lamphey. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory beaded gown with an organza layer. Bridesmaids were Lee Marshall and Mel Spure (best friends) and Hannah Gwillian and Belle Brooks (cousins), who wore Bordeaux sleeveless dresses with an accompanying wrap of the same colour. Best man was Martin Stephens, while ushers were Sean Delaney and Jonathan Hayes. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Martin Cox, assisted by Father John Dermody. Organist was Mrs. Margaret Phillips, while soloist was Angharad Llewelyn. A wedding reception was held at the Beggars Reach Hotel. The couple are honeymooning in Mauritius and Dubai and are making their home in Ruislip, London.
