Married recently in Tuscany, Italy, were Mr. Nathan Ward and Miss Nicole Ferguson.

The groom, an IT project manager, is the son of Travers and June Ward, of Stotfold, Hertfordshire, while the bride, a senior IT consultant, is the daughter of Iain and Carla Ferguson, of Parsons Green, St. Florence (formerly of Five Arches Tavern, Tenby).

The wedding took place at the church of San Michele, Catiglione di Garfagnana, Tuscany, Italy, which is the home of the bride's mother.

The 13th Century church was decorated with white roses throughout and a traditional British four-tier wedding cake was flown over to Italy for the wedding.

The bride wore an Ivory strapless, hand-embroidered dress and carried a bouquet of champagne Verdiana roses.

Best man was Kevin Hardwick (friend of the groom), bridesmaid was Maria Bandini (bride's cousin) and ring bearer was Sam Ferguson (bride's nephew).

A reception was held for friends and family who had come from Tenby and Singapore at La Lanterna Hotel and they were entertained with a mix of Italian and Scottish music.

After the wedding, the couple returned to the UK for another reception, before flying out to the USA and Turks and Caicos in the British West Indies for their honeymoon.

The couple have made their home in Hertfordshire.
