Married recently at St. John the Baptist Church in Huntley, Gloucester, were Mr. James Hopkins and Miss Joanna Norton.

The groom, a service engineer, is the eldest son of Jenny Morris, of Pentlepoir, while the bride, a children's bookseller, is the youngest daughter of Jim and Audrey Norton, of Begelly Stores, Begelly.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a halter-necked, white, princess-style gown, with full tulle skirt. The satin bodice was encrusted with diamante, as was the long train.

She was attended by her best friend, Sarah Taylor, and the bride's four nieces, Lauren Smith, Lynsey Gordon, Kirsty Gordon and Alice Norton.

The best man was the groom's best friend, Joseph Thomas. The ushers were the bride's nephew, Leigh Norton, and the groom's nephew, Lee Hubble.

The reception was held at the Red Lion Inn, Huntley, of which the bride's family are the proprietors.

The couple honeymooned in Zakynthos, Greece, and will be making their future home in Tenby.
