Mr. C. Salisbury Miss R. L. Watkins
St. Michaels Church, Castlemartin, was the setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Chris Salisbury and Miss Rebecca Louise Watkins. The groom, a harbour services assistant at Tenby Harbour, is the son of Mr. Nigel F. Salisbury and Mrs. Maria J. Sarrionandia, while the bride is the daughter of Mr. Michael H. Watkins and Mrs. Priscilla Watkins. Given away by her father, the bride wore a classic ivory strapless dress which featured intricate pearl beading along the top of the bodice with a lace-up back. Bridesmaids were Miss Julie C. Watkins (bride's sister) and Miss Freya B. Salisbury (bride and groom's daughter). Best men was Mr. Neil Thomas and Mr. Wayne M. Rogers (groom's friends), while the usher was Mr. Robert Watkins. Page boy was Master Jacob G. Salisbury (bride and groom's son). The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Tony Turner and the organist was Mrs. Barbara Gwyther. A reception was held at Heywood Mount Hotel, Tenby. The couple are making their home in Tenby.
