The wedding took place on March 5 between Richard Mark Morton, youngest son of Allan and Kaye Morton, of Scandinavia Heights, Saundersfoot, and Catherine Elizabeth Scourfield, eldest daughter of Huw and Brenda Scourfield, of Jubilee Gardens, Templeton.

The marriage service at St. Mary's Church, Whitland, was conducted by the Rev. Kingsley Taylor, and was followed by a reception held at Tenby Golf Club.

Richard is a biomedical scientist at Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli, while Catherine is a database administrator with Carmarthenshire County Council.

The couple honeymooned in the Canary Islands, before returning to their home in Whitland.
