Pictured following their wedding at St. Mary's Church, Whitland, on Saturday, August 1, are Mr. Darren Mason and Miss Gemma Davies.
The groom, proprietor of Narberth Taxis, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mason, of Rocky Hollow, Providence Hill, Narberth, while the bride, a teacher at Golden Grove School, Pembroke, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Davies, of Sparrows Nest, Abbey Road, Whitland.
The bride looked stunning in a rouchéd fitted, strapless, full-length ivory wedding gown with sweetheart neckline and elegant train.
Bridesmaid was Cathryn Davies, friend of the bride, and flower girl was Celyn Jones, bridegroom's niece, who wore mint green taffeta gowns with ivory trimming and button detail, made by the bride.
The bride held a bouquet of stargazer lilies, bijou orchids, miniature blush pink roses and ivory roses, made by bride's mother, while the bridesmaid held a posy of the same flowers, made by the bride's father. The flower girl held a hoop, again decorated with the same flowers.
Best man was Emyr Morse, while ushers were Daniel Davies, Ben Davies, Lucas Davies (bride's brothers) and Sior Jones (groom's brother-in-law). Ring bearers were Jacob and Sam Davies, bride's brothers.
The church was beautifully decorated with stargazer lilies, roses and larkspur by the bride's father.
During the service, Mr. Aubrey Davies sang 'The Rose', while Hannah Vaughan (couple's friend) read a poem 'On Your Wedding Day'.
Jacob Davies (bride's brother) played 'Romanza' on guitar during the signing of the register.
A six-course reception was held at the marquee at the Roadhouse Restaurant, Whitland. An evening party followed with fireworks and sparklers.
The happy couple are honeymooning in Mauritius.
