St. Mary's Church, Tenby, was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Martyn George Howells and Miss Laura Jayne Manuel.

The groom, a tyre fitter with Tenby Tyres, is the son of Mr. C. S. and Mrs. R. E. Howells, of 73 Knowling Mead, Tenby, while the bride, a shopkeeper at Kilgetty Fish Bar, is the daughter of Mr. D. A. and Mrs. J. E. Manuel, of Honey Pot Cottage, Valley Road, Saundersfoot.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an off- the-shoulder ivory strapless full-length bridal gown, decorated with Swarovski crystal, with long train and veil with crystal droplets.

Chief bridesmaid was Sara Howells (groom's sister), while bridesmaid was Lisa-Marie Howells (groom's niece). They wore dark heather, strapless chiffon full-length dresses. Flower girl was Courtney Howells (groom's niece), who wore an ivory dress decorated with crystals. Ring bearer was Ben Howells (groom's nephew).

Best man was Mr. T. Paxton (friend of the family), while ushers were Robin Howells (brother), Kevin Sykes, Kieran Manuel (bride's cousin) and Richard Paxton.

The ceremony was conducted by Rev. D. Baxter, with Dr. John Harrison at the organ. Afterwards, a reception was held at Heywood Mount, Heywood Lane, Tenby. The couple are honeymooning in Corfu and will be making their home in Tenby.
