MR. T. NIXON
MISS T. EVANS
Married recently at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, were Mr. Tim Nixon and Miss Tara Evans.
The groom, a carpenter, is the son of Peter and Julie Nixon, Saundersfoot, while the bride, a customer service agent, is the daughter of Stuart and Janice Evans, of Saundersfoot.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a classic custom design Kate Sherford dress and jacket of pale ivory with diamante buttons and trim from White Brides, Narberth.
The bride and her father were taken to the church by horse and carriage. In the church, Tenby Male Voice Choir sang and a reading was given by Judith Ronowitz.
In attendance were four bridesmaids, Rebecca Cox (friend), Natalie Howells (friend), Kelly Chinsammy (friend) and Emma Nock (groom's cousin), who wore floor-length pinky lilac detailed gowns, while flower girl Mia Jones (friend of the bride) wore a replica of the bride's gown with a pinky lilac matching sash.
Page boy was Gethin Bowden (groom's nephew), best man was Ashley Evans (bride's brother) and the ushers were the bride's cousins, Jason, Leigh, Gareth and Ethan Kettle and Johnathan Nixon (groom's brother).
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast for 120 guests was held at Plas Hyfryd, Narberth, where a Jamaican steel band played. An evening reception with a disco was held, when the bride and groom surprised guests with a crazy first dance.
After a holiday in Europe, the couple will make their home on the outskirts of Saundersfoot.
