The wedding took place on Saturday at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, of James Jones and Carys Rees, of Chestnut Cottage, The Ridgeway, Saundersfoot.

The groom, a mechanic, is the son of Beverley Williams, of Tenby, and Roger Jones, of Llanelli, while the bride, a housewife, is the daughter of Eira Hopkins and John Rees, of Llanelli.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless soft satin and tulle princess line dress, with a beaded neckline and waistline with Swarovski crystals, sequins, glass beads and bugle beads. It also featured a circular cut A-line skirt which had scatter beading to match. The gown also had a chapel-length train.

Bridesmaids Annemarie, Loraine Birkbeck (best friends) and Rhian Diaz (cousin) wore dusky pink strapless dresses just below the knees with net underskirt.

Best man was James Phillips (best friend of the family), while ushers were Ian Wilson and David Meryman.

Following the wedding ceremony which was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler, a reception was held at Heywood Mount Hotel.

The couple will be honeymooning in Cyprus.
