The wedding took place at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, of Mr. Jamie Alexander Heeps and Miss Sophie Anne Wooles.

The groom, a carpet fitter, is the son of Stuart and Alison Heeps, of 12 Marshall Road, Monkton, while the bride, a hairdresser, is the daughter of Chris and Anita Wooles, of 3 Brook Meadows, Sageston.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a stunning strapless full-length ivory gown. The bodice and six-foot train were beautifully detailed with sequins and pearls and were complemented by a matching tiara. Her threequarter-length veil glistened with drop pearls and sequins and she carried a teardrop bouquet of ivory roses and lilies.

Bridesmaids Emma and Lara (bride's sisters) both looked beautiful in deep burgundy strapless dresses with sequin detail across the top of the bodice. Flower girls, four-year-old Jessica and three-year- old Kaci (bride's nieces) also looked gorgeous in their dresses with deep burgundy bodice and white skirts.

Page boy, five-year-old Kyle (a relation of the groom) looked handsome in his three-piece navy tails.

Best man was Ben Jones (groom's best friend) and the ushers were Matthew and Daniel (groom's brothers) and Mark (bride's brother).

Following the ceremony, which was conducted by Canon Michael Butler, a reception was held at Heywood Mount Hotel in Tenby.

The couple will be spending their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and making their future home at 3 Hop Gardens, Sageston.
