Looking forward to a honeymoon in Gran Canaria in November are Mr. Stuart David Phillips and Miss Clare Louise Beynon, who were married at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on Saturday. The groom, a road technician for Carmarthenshire County Council based in Carmarthenshire, is the son of the late Bernard Phillips and Anona Phillips, of Whitland, while the bride, a probation service officer for the National Probation Service in Haverfordwest, is the daughter of Kenneth and Doreen Beynon, of Saundersfoot. The bride was given away by her father, and her dress featured a fitted bodice with beading and pearls and an ivory taffeta and ruched train. Bridesmaids were Janet O'Connell (bride's brother's girlfriend), Rhian Davies (bride's best friend) and Amy Lewis (bride's cousin). They wore knee-length hot pink dresses with halter necks. Best man was Dafydd Lewis (groom's best friend), while ushers were Mathew Hughes and Dorian Jenkins (groom's friends). The ceremony was conducted by Canon Michael Butler and was followed by a reception at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby. The couple will continue to live in Saundersfoot.
