St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, was the setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Samuel Hilling and Miss Joanna Leigh. The groom is the son of Stephen and Heather Hilling, of Lady Park, Tenby, while the bride is the daughter of Angela and Dave Leigh, of Hill Park, Thomas Chapel. Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory taffeta dress, featuring pearl and crystal detailing over the bodice, and train. Bridesmaids were Amy Pike and Becky MacDonald (friends), Kelly Wilson and Courtney Cramb (cousins). Two wore strapless deep red taffeta full-length gowns, while the other two wore threequarter- length ivory dresses with pearl detail. Page boy was Harry MacDonald (godson). Best man was Chris Foracre (friend), while ushers were Paul McGrath, Oliver Booth, Richard Garrod, Samuel Edwards, Joshua Freeman and James Phillips (friends), Johnny Leigh (bride's brother) and Joseph Hilling (groom's brother). The ceremony was conducted by Canon Michael Butler. Harpist Joy Cornock was also in attendance. A reception was held at Beggars Reach, Burton. The couple are honeymooning in Sorrento, Italy, and will be making their home in St. James Street, Narberth.
