Married recently at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, were Iona Samantha Wilson and Malcolm Thomas.

Iona is the daughter of Linda Wilson, Aberdeen, Scotland and Michael Wilson, Oban, Argyll, Scotland.

Malcolm is the son of Anne Bateman, Tenby and stepson of Dai Bateman, also of Tenby.

The groom wore full Welsh kilt in 'Spirit of Wales' tartan.

The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Peter Duncan, wore a strapless Japanese silk full-length gown and train, with sequin and crystal detail and crystal beaded veil.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses and plum lizzieanthus.

Matron-of-honour was Michelle Cowan (bride's friend), bridesmaids were Joanne and Laura Bateman (groom's sisters), Vikki Thomas (groom's daughter), and flower girl was Anna Thomas (bride and groom's daughter), who all wore Forever Yours dresses in plum with ivory detail.

Best man was Gareth Whitfield (groom's friend), ushers were Neil and Darren Bateman (groom's brothers), and page boy was Connor Thomas (bride and groom's son), who also wore full Welsh kilt in 'Spirit of Wales' tartan.

The reception was held at Coppet Hall Beach Hotel, Saundersfoot.

The couple have made their home in Tenby and will honeymoon later in the year.
