St. Issell's Parish Church, Saundersfoot, was the picturesque setting for the recent wedding of Mr. Barry Ormond and Miss Beverly Ryan. The groom, a builder, is the only son of Alan Ormond and the late Gillian Ormond, of 8 Woodfield Avenue, Kilgetty, while the bride, a revenue assistant, is the youngest daughter of Pat and Pauline Ryan, of Rainham, Kent. Given away by her father, the bride looked attractive in a stunning ivory empire line gown with embroidered organza overlay and matching stole. Her bouquet comprised a wrist shower of passion and tamango roses, gloriosa, safari sunset, euphobia and hypericum berries. Attending her were two bridesmaids, Suzanne Wright (bride's sister) and Rachel Griffiths (bride's friend), and a page boy, James Wright (bride's nephew). Best man was Jason Protheroe (groom's friend), ring bearer was Steve Brenchley (groom's son), while ushers were Rory Howells (groom's cousin), Andrew Wright (bride's brother-in-law), and Tony O'Neill and Simon Carter (groom's brothers-in-law). Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Michael Butler. The couple will continue to make their home at Honeyborough Grove, Neyland.
