St. Issell's Parish Church, Saundersfoot, was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Christopher James Jordan and Miss Joanne Sian Shaw. The groom, a mechanical engineer at Alliance Lifting, Pembroke Dock, is the son of Paul and Fiona Rogers, of Willow Glen, Valley Road, Saundersfoot, while the bride, an administrator in the family business, is the daughter of Bob and Sue Shaw, of 2 The Gables, Hill Lane, Kilgetty. Given away by her father, the bride wore an A-Line satin ivory gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and detailed bodice, with the back of the skirt leading into a detachable V-shaped train. Bridesmaids were Amy Cooper and Michelle Owen (bride's friends) and Leanne and Dana Rogers (groom's sisters), whose dresses featured strapless beaded bodices and A-Line skirts. Best man was Mike Stone (friend of the family) and the ushers were James Shaw (bride's brother) and Jamie Robinson (couple's friend), while the ring bearer was Ashley Rogers (groom's brother). After the ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler, a reception was held at the Wisemans Bridge Inn. The couple will be making their home in Broadmoor.
