St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, was the picturesque setting for the wedding recently of Jason James, chef, and design consultant Emma Phelps.

The groom is the only son of Emrys and Roz James, of Newport, while the bride is the youngest daughter of Roger and Kay Phelps, of Birbank, Scandinavia Heights, Saundersfoot.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a duchess satin ivory dress with steaples beaded bodice, full satin skirt and chiffon veil.

She was attended by Oliva Djmal (friend) and Emma James (bridegroom's sister) who wore a burgundy satin dress.

Flower girls Amy and Caitlin Edwards wore Edwardian dresses in cream satin.

Page boys were Jack Phelps-Jenkins and Thomas Phelps-Jenkins, who wore full morning suits.

Best man was Ryan Lewis, friend of the groom, and the ushers were Steven Jenkins and Kevin Evans.

The ceremony was conducted by Canon Michael Butler and included a solo sung by Samantha Coates (bride's cousin).

A reception was held at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot, and the couple are spending their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.

They will be making their home at 4 Clos Yr Ysgol, Stepaside.
