The wedding took place recently at Sardis Congregational Chapel of Leslie Davies and Eirian Davies.

The groom is the son of Nancy Davies and the late Clifford Davies, of 4 The Rise, Redberth, while the bride is the daughter of Jane Davies and the late Roy Davies, of Dale View, Stepaside.

Given away by David Rowen, a close friend of the bride's family, the bride wore a designer dress in ivory with a beaded bodice with sleeves and full-train, gold and pearl tiara and waist length veil. She carried a shower bouquet of mixed silk flowers in reds and ivory with berries and ivy.

Bridesmaids were Bonnie Davies, bride's younger sister, and Rhiannon Davies, the couple's elder daughter, who wore bottle green dresses with ivory boleros and carried posies of red and ivory silk flowers and greenery.

Flower girl was Ffion Davies, the couple's younger daughter, who wore an ivory dress and bolero and carried a basket of red and ivory silk flowers, while the page boy, the couple's son, Rhys Davies, wore black trousers and waistcoat with a white shirt and red tie.

Best man was Tony Richards, groom's friend.

The service was conducted by Rev. D. Davies and the organist was Mr. Stewart Treharne.

Following the ceremony, a buffet was held at the home of the bride's mother, and an evening buffet was held at the RAOB Club, Kilgetty, with entertainment from the groom and best man.

The couple will be making their home at 35 North Close, Saundersfoot.
