Penally Abbey Hotel was the delightful setting for the wedding on Monday, March 18, of Mr. Christopher Grant Horton-Jones and Miss Georgina Martin.

The groom, a local government grants officer, is the only son of Pam and Geoff Horton-Jones, of The Gate House, New Road, Begelly, while the bride is the daughter of Margaret and Jeffrey Powling, of 61 The Glebe, Tenby, and Stephen Martin, of Begelly.

Given away by her step-father, Mr. Jeffrey Powling, the bride looked attractive in an embroidered white satin strapless dress, with a lace bodice and matching bolero jacket. She also wore a full-length veil and tiara, and carried a tear-drop bouquet of ivory and pink roses, freesia and lilies.

Ring bearer was their son, Cameron, while the ceremony was conducted by registrar, Joy Walker.

Afterwards, an evening reception was held at the Ex-Servicemen's Club in Tenby.

The couple will make their future home in Beach Road, Llanreath.
