Recently married at Pembroke Registry Office were David Cantello and Mavis Irene Watchorn.

Immediately following the ceremony, a blessing took place at Pembroke Dock Spiritualist Church where Mrs. Joan Sweet, the president of the church, conducted the service.

The bride, who was given away by her youngest son Douglas Watchorn, wore a crimson two-piece dress and carried a bouquet of ivory roses and red carnations. The bridesmaid and flower girl were Rebecca Watchorn and Georgia Watchorn, respectively.

The groom, a palmist, first met the bride when he read her hand and they have been holding hands ever since!

The couple have made their home in Monkton and will be honeymooning in the southern USA early next year.
